                                             Attitude

Definition: an affective feeling of liking or disliking toward an object (which can be basically anything) that has an influence on behavior.

Quote:

“A bad attitude is like a flat tire.
If you don’t change it you’ll never go anywhere.”

Reflection: What this quote is saying is that by having the negative attitude you won’t achieve to move forward. For example, when you get a huge essay that is due the next day and it is worth a pass or fails in the class. You will never pass the class if you don’t try. To pass the class you must have a positive attitude and realize that you can truly do it.

Personal Development Quote

“A man without a goal is like a ship without a rudder.”

Thomas Carlyle

Reflection: This quote is saying that a man lacking a desire is pointless minus the authority to choose one’s own path. This relates to my 100+ goals because without the goals I want to achieve I wouldn’t have a victory to celebrate the accomplishment I achieved.

                                           Assertiveness

Definition: Assertiveness is the quality of being self-assured and confident without being aggressive.

Quote:

Reflection: Assertiveness is a positive word to describe the balance of something. For example you are on lunch break and your peer has a pile work of papers to sort through and you ask him/her whether they need a helping hand or if you can bring them lunch to eat. Assertiveness is considering the rights of someone.  Another way is when your mom tells you to do chores around the house and when she gets home she sees that you haven not even began to start. You must tell your mom you will do it at a specific time that it will be done.

Accountability

Definition: The fact or condition of being accountable; responsibility

Quote:

Reflection: This quote demonstrates an obligation we people should follow, which is to be responsible for his or hers actions. For example, when you head to kitchen and your reaching for a cup of the second self but your too exhausted to get the ladder from the garage. So, you jump to reach it and finally got the cup and when coming down from the jump you accidentally dropped your mom’s favorite cup into small pieces. You freak out and when your mom asks for the cup and you blame it on your little brother. And this does not show being responsible for your actions.
